About Online brokerages.

I'm just getting my feet wet in Daytrading, and finding it very interesting. You folks that post on this thread,"Momentum Trading in
Canada", and "DT in Can in RT" are very informative and helpful.
So much more productive than some of the trashing you come across elsewhere.

The big problem I'm having with daytrading, is trying to get orders
placed, confirmed, cancelled, etc. with my broker, CIBC Investors
Edge.(I have been trying to use the online service because I want to take advantage of the discount, and I can't stand listening to elevator music while on hold for 5-10 min.) I've gone through alot of the post in these three threads, and am really disappointed to find
out that there isn't much better available out there for us Canuks.

As someone else mentioned, it's probably our own fault. Canadians are
just far to complaisant. The wheel won't get fixed if it doesn't squeak!

I know CIBC has a "FEEDBACK" button at the bottom of the page, and I
for one, plan on flooding it with critical feedback, starting today.
I'm sure the other services welcome feedback, and hope that others will follow suite.

I think it's time we stop "just letting off steam", and let these
guys know that they are screwing up big time. Just a thought, but I
won't be surprised if intentional inferior online service is part
of the master plan for the big banks. They lure investors into the
market by offering discount brokerages, get them real interested, and then force them to use the "knowledgable" desk jockies(for which they charge almost as much as a full service brokerage.) What a scam.

Well enough for now.
Off to type some "Feedback"
