SIGA Opened with an UG but still wasn't able to test the resistance at the $4 level.<g> bigcharts.marketwatch.com It said that although the final results of its ST-246 for smallpox weren't available, preliminary results indicated that the drug is safe and well-tolerated at all tested doses when administered orally for 21 days to healthy human volunteers. The blood levels were dose-dependent & the levels obtained were the same as those shown to protect monkeys.The drug's half-life was sufficient to support once-a-day dosing. They continue to consider that ST-246 will be a potent, safe & reliable drug against smallpox.
