Yes that appears to be a bit confusing.. Searching through back messages on Yahoo, It appears that: 1. Trident apparently owns 55.8 mil shares of UMC 2. UMC owns 40% of Unipac. 3. Trident is to sell 1 mil shares to Unipac 4. Trident is also to sell 3 mil shares to Hsun Chieh which is also tied to UMC. 5. UMC has very high growth prospects. shares are up to 96 NTD today. 6. Trident has moved research and development workforce to Shanghai. Unipac builds 14-17" TFT-LCD. Trident's main push is toward lap top displays. How do you put this together? pete
