MY QUARTERLY REPORT ON THE YEAR 2006 PICKS. Back in Dec. 2005 in the last week of the year I picked 10 stocks as my stock picks for 2006. 5 where long picks 5 were short picks. And at this time I would like to present the quarterly results of the first quarter. Long picks 1. CTXS +33.78% 2. SSCC +6.18% 3. FDO +3.66% 4. BUD -1.11% 5. BLI +14.66% Total for the group of long picks. +11.43% Short picks 1. AAPL -13.35% 2. BDK -1.25% 3. EMN -1.48% 4. BC -5.22% 5. COH + 2.01% Total for the group of short picks. +3.85% Total for the combined porfolio +7.64% That is a yearly return rate of 30%. With 8 out of 10 winners. The weekly stock picks are doing as well or better. Yearly stock picks are tough because things change over the course of the years and not being able to tweek the porfolio keeps a trader hand cuffed to the picks. But so far so good as the porfolio handly outperformed the market.
