Having a former Dell Commercial Sales Director is a good start. It was this Senior V.P. who changed the commission structure, hence, the "unplugging the pipeline" accounting entry that lead to the booked loss.

Why do these companies not make a prior period adjustments. Is this not where the Revenues were recognized?
