Oak Grove Systems Offers J2EE Workflow Engine For BEA's WebLogic
ALTADENA, CA, Aug 01, 2001 (INTERNET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Oak Grove Systems today announced the successful completion of rigorous compatibility testing for Reactor(TM) 5.0 with BEA Systems' (Nasdaq: BEAS chart, msgs) WebLogic(TM) application server. Reactor 5.0 is Oak Grove's J2EE-based, XML-driven workflow engine for developing enterprise Java applications.

Compatibility between Reactor 5.0 and BEA's WebLogic is an important step in Oak Grove's strategy of delivering an efficient process tool suitable for a wide variety of platforms, applications, and environments. Reactor 5.0 enables interoperability with existing technology investments for WebLogic users.

"Oak Grove Systems has always maintained the design goal of providing cross-platform tools, offering our clients compatibility, continuity, and flexibility, minimizing additional application development costs," says Charles Ames, CEO of Oak Grove Systems.

Implemented within the J2EE framework, written entirely in Java, and using XML for process definitions and instantiation, Reactor 5.0 is a "best-of-breed" workflow engine that dramatically improves time-to-market and decreases development costs by providing a suite of tools for the rapid development of process layers within enterprise Java applications.
