07/14 ExxonMobil Inks $7B Initial Agreement For Qatar GTL Project.

DOHA, Qatar (Dow Jones)--U.S. energy giant ExxonMobil Corp. (XOM) Wednesday
signed an initial agreement with the Qatar government to develop a
gas-to-liquids project at Ras Laffan industrial city, with an estimated
investment of $7 billion.
The project will process about 1.8 billion cubic feet a day of natural gas
from Qatar's massive North field, converting it into around 154,000 barrels a
day of high-quality gasoil, lubricants, plus small quantities of naphtha.
