Thanks for the articles, Semi. You would think that the LCD/Flat panel segment would stress the energy cost savings they achieve over CRTs. Sure, an LCD monitor might cost twice as a much as a CRT but it uses a fraction of the electricity. Factored into the 2 or 3 year "normal usage" time frame, an LCD is not nearly as expensive as the price tag would imply.
