Sounds like we need a giant to kick ass and take names. I don't see anybody like that on the horizon. Do you?

In my civilian career, that was the most distressing thing I experienced. At the ground level it did not happen, with few exceptions. The higher up I went the worse the narcissism and backstabbing got.

We need a Lewis and Clark type of leadership. I was hoping their example would come to the fore during the bicentennial, but it was largely ignored by the main stream.

I'm all for competition, but overall gain should be a personal ethic of every leader we have.

And they fail us over and over.

Frankly, I think Bush could have been that kind of leader, but there were too many people trying to cut him down.
