[Article and Posting Influence]

Pat, that article just reflected my own personal sentiments about deployment challenges. It was representative of my thinking, but I did not mean to imply those people who made statements influenced me to think that way. I was merely trying to show a consensus agreement. By the way, I did not see your previous response to that article so thank you for sharing it.

Now let's talk about the influence of posts on this thread for a bit. This morning, based on your post of the Siemens deal (which should mean a minimum of 50 mil for AMTX) and the fact you said an analyst (hopefully a respected one with a company people have heard of) will make positive comments, I purchased 10 more Jan '98 calls on AMTX. Nobody put a gun to my head to do this, and I take full responsibility for the decision. But you should know without that posted info I never would have pulled the trigger and bought more. Therefore, I submit that posts on this thread absolutely have an influence one way or another for people to purchase (or short) this stock. I just hope it was an intelligent decision. It appealed more to the gambler in me than my investment sense. I'll owe you one if this comes through because of that info.

One more item. If by January (even October) this stock is still in the low teens with no telco contracts--would you agree it is time to abandon ship? I tend to get more negative with higher purchases of speculative stuff.

Mike
