[ Tuned Jim ] I remember all the positive comments about the Amati Overture 8 --- the Ease of installation and use in the field trials. Seems we sometimes forget more than we remember. The lines of people waiting were behind the Amati modem and the other modems were (poof) Gone. I'm looking for the Bigger Deal from Amati and those take much more time. It all revolves around consumer acceptance and product demand. I think the lines of people observed waiting to test the OV8 should be the clue. They must have been using the Chip-Set then Huhhhh ?
