I haven't had time to get very far with all that info you gave. I did notice someting in microsoft system information, however, that I will run by you. My memory resources free is presently 23 %. What does that say... Under memory range, my monitor (NVIDIA) is assigned SIX memory range blocks while the motherboard is assigned FOUR. "System Board extension for PnP BIOS" gets THREE. And something called "VIA TECH 8598 CPU to AGP controller" gets THREE. I'm trying to save some steps by bringing up, what to me appear to be anomalies. Admittedly, my judgment on this is mainly guesswork, but I'm hoping that something will jump out at yourself or tc that will provoke the EUREKA response! I am really trying to avoid all that homework ;)
