Dragonfly: There are other companies working on non-viral approaches to gene therapy, although Vical is probably the foremost. I don't think you should believe that Vical's patent position is forever going to keep away competitiors -- they will challenge and redefine the patent endlessly I suspect. I know Cell Genesys is experimenting in this area through their acquisition of Somatix Therapy which has a small project in the works.... My comments about the "Roach Motel" attitude of INSTITUTIONS and the reporting of the negative opinions I heard from analysts at Mehta Isaly were simply to convey information, not my views. I am getting interested in VICL at these prices. Before I thought the price was clearly ridiculous. Can anyone summarize the arguments for buying the stock for long term reward? Thanks!
