Day 30: A song that reminds you of yourself


For the final day, I’m choosing Rush – Time Stand Still.



I think it's fitting to end the 30-Day Prog Song Challenge with this song. It's one of my favorite Rush tracks. Time Stand Still has been called the perfect middle-aged anthem—maybe that's true, I don’t know. The lyrics talk about the importance of cherishing the people and moments that surround us, and allowing ourselves the time to simply be—to savor the beauty of life, which tends to get lost in the rush of everyday living. As I get older, I think about that message more and more. Ha! Maybe Time Stand Still is an anthem after all!

Closing thoughts on the 30-Day Challenge

This challenge has been a lot of fun! I’ve revisited old favorites, discovered some new tracks, and taken a deeper dive into the catalogs of some of my favorite prog artists. It’s been a great way to reflect on why I love this music so much. I’ve enjoyed sharing my picks along the way.
