I heard the same thing last year. Wish in one hand and crap in the other, and see which piles up faster. We're at the same price we were at 6 months ago again after 2 quarters of meeting/beating estimates.
1.20 this year is 50% growth in earnings. You think we'll be back to 100% again next year? Obviuosly you are the only one or people would buy the stock. Accretive schmetive. The stock and the company are two different entities. They are not tied together as much as we'd like. The CHEM acquisition was done with convertible debentures. That will keep a ceiling on the stock long enough to keep buyers away long enough for the stocks reputation for low PE's to become even more solid. Hey, I owned it from 7. Shoulda sold at 9. I wouldn't repurchase now even at 7 simply because the fact that it IS at 7 now.
Technically, the stock is shot regardless of the company's performance. The delay in first quarter filing after they said they would didn't help either. That hack PR firm was the real clue. Luckily I got out at 8. Too bad. They earn more than alot of tech stocks I own and have a higher growth rate, yet those other stocks move. Just remember, a company and it's stock are 2 different things.
