I also checked out a Claire's store, this one in Boise, Idaho. It was a wet and snowy night so there were very few who ventured out to the mall, so I really couldn't get any feel for how the store was doing.

This was the first Claire's I have ever noticed, being a new shareholder. My impression was that they should offer more higher priced goods. I am sure the margins are very high on the products that they do offer, but I doubt there was anything in the store with more than a $25 price tag.

I understand that high volumn high margin products for teenage girls constitute their marketing approach but it looked to me that is room for some high margin higher priced products as well.

Personally, we have two teenage boys so I really don't have a clue as to what teenage girls are into buying. With two boys, it is food that we are into buying :o)
