Right you are an idiot. You could have bought a two year old MBZ and a used Piper Cherokee-4 (maybe even a 6) for that price.

My second owner 300SD has 232,000 on it with original engine and trans. It still is a beautiful, comfortable, great handling and safe car. Buy the value not the glitz.
