Err..., your theory being that if there are no sunspots, CO2 is not a GHG? The effect of CO2 in the atmosphere is to first order, independent of sunspots.

It is always possible that somehow the sun changes radically, and unexpectedly, and this either cooks the planet or freezes it, but that does not change the science behind AGW. If the sun does indeed cool a bit in this next cycle, then human induced CO2 in the atmosphere will keep us a bit warmer. If the sun later heats up a bit, the CO2 in the atmosphere will heat us up in addition to that.

No rocket science. Even an idiot can figure this out.
