FREMONT, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 29, 1998--ESS Technology Inc. (NASDAQ:ESST) today announced that the lawsuit alleging patent infringement of U.S. Patent number 5,698,803 has been settled.
The lawsuit has been settled to the parties' mutual satisfaction and ESS Technology Inc. is now under license from Creative Technology LTD. regarding sales of its Maestro products. Further terms of the settlement are confidential.
