(Nasdaq: PRFM) may be smelling success with the launch of its Web site, but the stock could really stink for investors lured in late to this wanna-be e-commerce giant. In two-and-a-half months, Perfumania (chart), which sells fragrances through nearly 300 outlets, went from a stock valued at 50 cents to $12 and hit about $6 before bouncing back a bit. On Wednesday shares of Perfumania closed down 15/16 to 7 3/4 in an up day for tech stocks.
