1. Hans Blix told the security council that he could not conclude that Saddam had voluntarily disarmed as resolution 1441 required. Do you agree?

Yes.............in 1998.

2. Hans Blix never said to the UN "If I am given 6 more weeks I will definitely be able to determine whether or not Saddam has complied". Do you agree with that as well?

Of course he didn't say that............he couldn't. He couldn't know how long it would take to inspect all of Iraq. It took US inspectors over a year to reach their conclusion.

However, as early as 1998, Blix said that over 95% of Iraq's WMD's had been destroyed.

Thems the facts, as I recall. Had he done either of those (confirmed that Saddam had complied with the resolution's mandate, or stated that he could definitely confirm it within reasonable time period X), there would not have been a war (in my opinion).

He didn't do either of those two things, at least not until AFTER the war.

Your argument makes no sense. You wanted him to reach a conclusion but were not willing to give him the time to do it. You're as bad as Bush.

Here's what Blix was saying back then:

"American officials tried to discredit the work of inspectors in Iraq to further their own case for war, the chief UN weapons inspector Hans Blix has charged."
