Hi Paul, Actually, as far as laptops are concerned I would not buy either, I have been using Thinkpads for some years now and am sold on them. The 7xx series are the class of the field, but they cannot yet compete on price. Getting better though. I still get employee discounts, so it's less of a consideration for me. I did read recently though that for at least a short while CPQ had the laptop lead over Toshiba, and they are consistently up among the leaders in volume. Of course, I also read that as usual, Dell is moving up fast... John
