To all:

It's not much, but for what it's worth:

(T) AT&T Corp

AT&T's COO John Walter is getting high marks from analysts for tackling AT&T's deep-seated problems, but they still see years of struggle ahead. "I think he's doing a great job of recognizing reality and getting the organization prepared for the future," said Merrill Lynch analyst Daniel Reingold. Analysts see Walter as a shirt-sleeves manager, a team player more committed to openness than the aloof Chairman and CEO Robert Allen. (Reuters 11:12 AM)

As difficult as it may appear at this moment in time, the price of AT&T at these levels ($36.00) is a great candidate as a core holding for the future. Remember, the biggest profits come from those investments that are out of favor and with depressed prices.
