A stupid question. Microsoft destroys their competition by incorporating a rivals software technology into their operating system. Every machine needs an operating system so most people aren't going to pay for somewhat improved software that they already have loaded on their machine. Why wouldn't IBM just give away OS2 for free and undercut Microsofts market?
