Crude & product stock levels and crude prices have not hit the level that will cause me great concern yet. I dont want to get caught is assuming a V shape for the prices only to find the economy slipping further and stock levels increasing when we should be climbing the V in crude prices. The May crude contract price history does not look bad to my untrained eye.

Of course here in NJ a bit west of NYC I see the weather report predicting snow and cold weather over the weekend.

My bet at this time is the economy will be weak for some time but at most mildly recessionary. As such the weather and OPEC will have a greater impact on energy prices.
