China will increasingly ask us to borrow money from them in their currency -- we did the same in the past when we were an economic powerhouse. This will over time crush the dollar. The long run destiny of China is not to be a sweatshop for bankrupt American consumers. We can get off this merry go round as soon as we start to pay our own way in the world -- that is after we have paid back the mortgage on America that the Chinese now hold.
