Frank: Not the PIs, but the 3-drug combos reduce HIV to undetectable levels *in the blood*. This is not to say that there are no cells harboring the virus.

Of course, the coctails *might* actually cure some people. If so, it would most likely be people who start treatment early. But nobody want to call them a cure. That term is just too loaded.
