After watching the post-2008 debate, I am not betting on real change on that side of the aisle myself. I just don't see any leverage for it. I do see it in the senate in which the narrative of losing five senate seats because of "loony" candidates, to quote Steve Schmidtt, appears to be getting very prominent airing. I will be surprised if the 2014 Republican senatorial candidate selection is not managed much more from the senate itself. And affiliated money groups. But the House is a separate entity and with all that money floating around that wants to find extremist candidates, I just don't see the leverage.
