Ted, Keep in mind that Tommy Franks is also the general in charge of the mission in Iraq. I'll take the word of the commander on the field over that of a second-guessing senator with political ambitions. And yet that same commander in the field, as you put it has said we don't need more troops in Iraq and everything is fine there. One night of the nightly news assuredly disputes that premise......even on FOX. On the other hand, Mr. Kerry clearly has been more objective when it comes to Iraq and certainly seems more in touch with reality......and yet, you go with the opinion of Franks. Sorry, Ten, why the posturing? Why don't you admit you want to believe Franks because it doesn't present a conflict for your support of Bush. Of course, you're welcome to bring up the analogy with MacArthur vs. Truman ... Sorry, no......I have no idea to what you're referring. ted
