Talk of a buyout is premature. Money may be rolling in from Genentech for the Asthma collaboration (probably around $10 m). The squalamine trials are a bargain costing the company only 200k, most of the costs are underwritten. The prospects for Pex - though delayed, are still exciting. I'd be pretty unhappy if Magn sold out. I still see the company as a blockbuster company - though I hope that I'll be young enough to enjoy it when it happens.
