AppNet To Buy Consulting Co. With $9.5 Million Revenue

BETHESDA, Md. -(Dow Jones)- AppNet Inc. (APNT) plans to acquire Edgar
Dunn & Co., a strategy consulting firm focusing on electronic-business,
in a cash-and-stock transaction.
Specific financial terms weren't disclosed.
In a press release Tuesday, AppNet said Edgar Dunn had 1999 revenue of
about $9.5 million and has about 40 billable consultants.
Edgar Dunn advises clients on using the Internet to transform payment
processing, developing new media and branding strategies.
AppNet, an interactive marketing agency, posted revenue of $112.34
million for the year ended Dec. 31, 1999.
