Petz, There is nothing evil about the 11% note. The only attractive part is that retiring this debt provides a convenient capital loss for the Q3. Other than that, the interest "savings" for the future will have to paid for now in for of a premium, and the $450 million cash on hand will no longer be earning interest income. The economical effect on the company is a wash. It is only important for the book, tax and psychological purposes. Joe
