Neocon: First that poem was sent me by a rightwing friend. There is precedent for an occasional heart - tugging post, by some other prolific poster, whom I know to be a rightwinger. It would not have mattered how I replied, would it? You'd have attacked me no matter what. There was no point to you coming over there except to make trouble because you don't agree with me, or I said something to you that you lost your temper. I may not share some of your opinions but I'm not going to make trouble for you because of it. I respect the fact your opinion may differ from mine, but I certainly wouldn't deny your right to have differing opinions.
