terry, What I meant is that carrier groups stay in deep water generally, the Arab Gulf being the exception. However any major ship sunk in that region would impede naval traffic and hurt the Middle East on the short-term until replacement pipelines were constructed...

China needs to move to cleaner fuels sources or else most of its people will die from air pollution.

I still like nuclear power- Just make the owners accumulate hard dollars in an abandonment account perhaps one solution....

The big winners long-term are natural gas and alternative fuels....
