[H&Q touting their IPO's] <<Hambrecht & Quist was an underwriter for RF Micro Devices' initial offering at 3.037 million common shares priced at $12 each June 3.>> this is key. not to disparage RFMD but a "buy" rating from H&Q doesn't mean much. that said, the co. does look interesting but pricy. Then again, i bought QWST after the IPO. mark p.s. "GaAs" - Gallium Arsenide. check out ww.gaasnet.com for more info, lists of companies in all parts of the GaAs foodchain, and press releases.
