PATRICIA MINING CORP. ANNOUNCES DRILL RESULTS

Patricia Mining Corp. has provided the latest assay results from the 2006 underground drilling program at the Island gold project near Wawa, Ont. This project is a joint venture operation with Richmont Mines Inc.

The table highlights the significant results from the underground definition drilling on the Island, Island North and Shore zones. Only the intercepts that show geological continuity and are within potential mining blocks are included. Highlights in the table below include numerous high-grade intercepts from the subparallel B, C, D, D1, E and E1 zones including 24.47 grams per tonne (g/t) gold (Au) over 4.56 metres and 27.14 g/t Au over 2.10 metres. The drilling results confirm the geological continuity of the zones both vertically to a depth of 340 m and horizontally over a strike length of greater than 150 metres for some zones. All of the gold-bearing zones are open at depth.
