1) I appreciate your candor regarding the 'Tokyo' issue, and since I don't have the email I don't mind fully endorsing your recollection of the events. Hype is in the eye of the beholder, and maybe my using such a 'charged' word was a poor choice. Anyway, you provided a pretty complete description of the whole thing for all to see. 2) The quality of my writing is proportional to how much time I spend on my writing. Many emails are just dashed off without even spell-checking. Since clearly some judgments will be made on these posts, I have invested more time in them. Call it vanity. Anyway, thanks for recognizing the quality, I have been trying. 3) Although I am in LA I am originally from NY and still have an affinity for the NY teams. Perhaps if LA gets a new football team it will be easier to adopt them 'from birth' than it has been for Dodgers, Lakers, etc. 4) I wasn't aware of my sigh on the cc. It was probably more of a deep breath than a sigh since I was nervous while asking the question. 5) I am going to try to resist the temptation of posting more on these topics here. If you want to continue this email me, otherwise you can certainly count on me to not email you. Your choice.
