LOL. I always have taken more positive from existentialism than most. My synopsis of the Antoine Roquentin character is that he woke up one day and found that nothing looked the same...nothing had the meaning to him that it once did...expanding a bit...why do we do the things that society tells us to do... but the positive is that once you relieve yourself of the burden and get to nothingness...then you can build a life filled with things that you value....in other words deconstruct the junk so that you can construct something truly worthwhile. like good karma. :-) (edit: bonus points for recognizing my name :-))
