Lone clone "I'm not going to contribute further to derailing this thread with off topic posts about global warming."

It seems that either I can't write or many here can't read. I'm not talking about GLOBAL WARMING or CLIMATE CHANGE or any other emotive pseudo science.

I am talking about atmospheric CARBON DIOXIDE; the fantasy that it is something bad that has to be taxed, traded, sequestered or eliminated in order to save "the spotted owl", "the polar bear", "old growth forests", " coral reefs", "the very existence of the human race", etc. etc....

Unfortunately taxing, legislation reductions, sequestration, trading schemes all cost money and oil sands companies are standing up front, right the firing line of the carbon terrorists who, if they get their way could eliminate the industry with the stroke of a pen.

The CO2 debate is very much "on topic" in this thread, even though if logical and scientific debate prevailed, it should not be.

I won't carry this discussion into trading periods however; it's a weekend subject only...
