Jefferson was a hard core liberal for his times. Hard to talk sense into you.

FDR gave us social security and that pulled millions of poor (especailly older women) out of abject poverty. And if they just raise the cap on social security it is good for another 75 years.

So what exactly is this damage shit you are talking about?
