I just did. It's a cover word today for Socialism/Liberalism. A push for further State control, by one means or another, of the economy. The biggest push today is done using "environmentalism" as a cover.

You have to go by present usage. If you want to go back to 19th Century definitions and use them today, then "Liberal" is a person on the Right. Still is, in Europe.
