Charles. Market does not realize that LSI is so close to supply chain that LSI can avoid the inventory problems it ran into during the last down cycle, when PC based products had enough of a critical mass in the overall market, and LSI's technology for new products was too far ahead of the times. Now we have consumer markets for things like digital cameras and DVDs, wireless stuff, and all the internet related stuff for broadband etc, in addition to PCs. During recent CC WC talked about how short term product cycles for customers are, and how quick the turnaround has to be. I would be amazed if any of these customers double ordered anything, since LSI is the one building its own chips, with close real time customer relationships in the supply chain. Sure hope Gresham has a logistics system that can handle the timely ramp up effectively.
