The last 10 years are on my side. And besides, I am interested in your or anyone's opinion provided they base it on a well thought out set of parameters. And for you to look at trailing twelve month EPS as a basis for valuing MSFT and other high tech stocks based on PE multiples is just not correct.
Also, SUNW, for the first time in recent history, issued a warning about revenue growth. Stealing a chapter out of the MSFT play book, basically. But the fact is, SUNW now has to prove that it can indeed perform like MSFT against down played expectations before its stock can be rewarded accordingly. Until then, it will get punished, just as DELL was punished recently for doing the same thing.
My point is, you made a blanket comment regarding MSFT, SUNW and YHOO that was off mark. To top it off, you predicted MSFT trading in the $60-$70 range in the short term. And you did not predict the $60-$70 range as a short term dip, you predicted it as a trading range. I am sorry, but you just didn't think your argument through.
