Bottom Dweller, actually, the CEO was interviewed on CNBC by Amanda Grove which aired at 6:55 EST on Friday. The CEO said they were about 3-5 years away from developing a drug based on this discovery. The drug applies to both anti-aging AND cancer. << If GERN's discovery is the magical key that will solve all of our problems (which I am very very skeptical of), it is still 10 years at least (5 years more for R&D, 5 years for FDA approval) away from making use of it and for GERN to make any money from it. That's in an insanely best case.>> Also, consider that in 1983, the HIV virus was found. Three years and some months later, the drug AZT was quickly developed and approved by the Food & Drug Administration (FDA). HIV only afflicts less than 1% of the population. Cancer is the second largest cause of death (behind heart disease) in the Western World.
