I am holding T for the foreseeable future. I also recommend the dividend reinvestment program. At these low trading levels, you get more bang for your buck every quarter without paying brokerage fees, and you can add larger amounts as well just by sending in a check direct to AT&T. As for $50 by the end of this year, unless there is some major news announcement regarding earnings growth that will increase substantially by mid 1998, I don't think we'll see $50 for a few years.
