Just wrote a nasty gram to the editor of Arab News.com..

I'm going to be watching their media more closely in order to gauge the amount of pressure they are feeling over this matter.

Dear Editor:

Osama Basnan was NOT acquitted. He plead guilty to
immigration violations and was deported from the
United States, as was Bayoumi.

Just because there remains evidence that would prove
beyond a reasonable doubt that both of these
individuals were financially backing the 9/11
terrorists, does not mean they were acquitted.

And most importantly, there is NO DOUBT that Princess
Haifa and Prince Bandar were defrauded by the
unauthorized diversion of there donations.

But apparently neither of the royal personages feel
that these individuals should be punished for their
blatant theft and fraud, as well as embarrassing them
through their connections to these terrorists. They
haven't filed any criminal charges against them that I
know of. To the contrary, we have your journalists
referring to them as victims, and not the fraudsters
they actually are.

If the Princess/Prince really feel they've been
defrauded, they should apply Sharia law and take their
hands, if not their heads.

But what many Americans, like myself, are beginning to
suspect, is that this wasn't so much a case of fraud,
but of extortion by militants.. Or even more
sinister, a case of the Saudi royal family using their
resources to engage in hostile acts of war against the
US...

Pressing criminal charges for fraud and outright theft
against Basnan and Bayoumi would go far towards
resolving this situation. Not doing so leaves open
the question as to exactly why the Princess and Prince
feel they haven't been defrauded.

We implemented our law by deporting Basnan and
Bayoumi, now Saudi Arabia should implement theirs by
trying them for the obvious fraud and theft they
committed against the Ambassador and his wife.
