I couldn't type- I was a big shot lawyer. So, I was intriqued with speech recognition. i wanted to dictate to a computer and avoid the cost of a secretary. I became familiar with lhsp, kurz, and dragon dictate and ibm viavoice and fonix and a few minor players. Now lhsp owns kurz, will own dragon,and owns part of fonix. It is buying up the competition.
