GZ, Thanks for that note on the bonds. Do you think the Clinton news will be short lived? It will take months for this thing to play out, if indeed he is guilty of obstruction of justice. IMO, Bill will be just as hard or harder to pull down as the bull. GO DENVER!

Now gold wasn't such a bad bet for an ole relic was it? gggg (ya I'm an ole relic) Still might see one last downdraft on the xau before the turnaround is complete. What do you think of the XAU chart?. The Death of Gold story recently published tells the story along with the recent high approval rating of Clinton and balance budget agreement that sent the market to peak in August. The stories are both out, it's just this chewing period that is trying - bwdik.

I just saw a chartist, who described the S&P chart as a megaphone, which would indicate a blow-off top coming - what do you think? The Nasdaq has held up very well while the Dow has been dipping.

I matched it up with the megaphone in the spring of 29' and it took 4 months to complete the peak which would put us in May earnings warning period.
