I would bet that most of the war hawks will not give up so easily. But there is no question that setting up a war is a difficult thing. If the Administration lets the inspectors go in, you can kiss off any war this winter.

Not at all. Getting a war to happen is a very difficult thing. Even if the UN is "pushed to the wall", that doesn't mean that there will be a war, just another resolution demanding inspections. This is what I would expect.
