Why do Mexicans come to the United States? Work. Why would Saudi's flee a repressive oligarchy to find freedom in neighboring democratic and economically successful Iraq? Hmmmm, maybe Iranians would do likewise. Why are you asking me this question? You have no idea how powerful an economically successful Iraq can impact the Middle East. How do you know what I know? Why is it that liberals hate liberation? I don't understand the need for some posters (evidently you as well) to frame every discussion as liberals versus conservatives. But if you must, go ask the above question to someone who identifies themselves as liberal, but the question sounds like "how many times a week do you beat your wife?", so don't expect much of an answer. Is it because Republicans are the champions of freedom and that partisanship trumps Democratic ideals? Nope. That's not why. Try again.
